Kanha National Park And How It Is Advantageous

Kanha National Park is a Tiger Reserve and a national park situated along the Balaghat and Mandla districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. It houses the sloth bear leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger. In the year 1930, the Kanha area Was separated into two sanctuaries namely the Banjar and Hallon, of 300 and 250 square km respectively. Today it stretches to over an area of 950 square km in both districts of Balaghat and Mandla. With the neighbouring 110 square km, Phen Sanctuary and a surrounding buffer zone of about 1009 square km, forms the Kanha Tiger Reserve. The national park was made on June of 1955. Kanha National Park includes a large Population of creatures and a substantial population of Indian wild dogs and leopards. The wild dogs’ inhabitants is projected at 396; the slot bear has reached 111 and the leopards and nearly 80 people for year 2000. The rare Indian wolf are found in the eastern portion of this park.

Flora
